Construction Project Management Services
Construction Project Management Services allows the Owner to fast-track delivery of the project. GBC is involved from the beginning of the design phase through certificate of occupancy. During the design phase, GBC is responsible for the management of the construction team and the construction cost with the customer as well as providing input on efficiencies and improvements that will lower the construction cost as well as reduce the Owners long term cost of ownership. GBC solicits competitive proposals from multiple sub-contractors for each construction trade and or phase. Evaluations are made on the submitted proposals and recommendations are made to the Owner regarding which proposal best suits the Owners’ objectives for the project.
General Contractor – Services
GBC is engaged after the design process has been completed and approved by the Owner. The Owner is the single point of contact for the Construction Project Management process. GBC provides an estimate for the scope of work as defined by the plans and specifications prepared by the Architect and Owner. Once the contract has been awarded, GBC is the single point of contact for the Owner. GBC is responsible for maintaining the construction cost, schedule and quality to ensure the project is on schedule and on budget.
Design Build – Services
Design Build Service allows GBC to select and employ an architect to work as part of the project team. The construction process and entire design is coordinated and completed by GBC in conjunction with the Owner. This method has several advantages, such as budgeting, significant cost savings through use of cost effective construction, and fast-track design/construction of the project early in the process. Design Build Service offers the Owner the ability to have the project managed from the beginning to the end so the Owner can focus on their core business.
